Sandra L. Koch

Sandra Koch is the founder and CEO of Aurora Consulting Group, LLC. Entering the financial field in 1997, Sandra began her career preparing taxes for a small town Certified Public Accountant in the heart of Colorado. This experience would eventually lead Sandra to operate as a freelance accountant, supporting local Colorado businesses and communities. Sandra developed an affinity for entrepreneurs and for finding ways to reduce their stress and create more efficient processes.  She took a short break from the freelance world and spent four years serving as the controller of a luxury real estate firm before forming Aurora Consulting Group, LLC in 2011.

Sandra is an Enrolled Agent with the United States Internal Revenue Service - this elite status allows her to represent clients before the IRS nationwide. She is a member of both the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the California Association of Enrolled Agents. Sandra completed education to become a Certified Tax Coach in 2017 with the American Institute of Certified Tax Coaches and is also certified as a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. Sandra holds a Master’s of Business Administration in addition to her Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting.

Sandra’s diligence and passion has built a firm steadfast on creating a space where entrepreneur dreams are nurtured, supported and heard. Her dedication to this philosophy is the driving force of Aurora Consulting Group.

 

In her free time, Sandra enjoys traveling and spending time in nature camping and hiking.  She takes great pride in her big family that consists of 5 children and 3 grandchildren. When she is not working or backpacking through the wilderness, Sandra enjoys spending time with her growing family.
